Blizzcon almost here!

The countdown has already begun! I mean litterly, just look to ur right! As of this posting, there are 9 days and 10 hours left till I leave. I will be leaving on August 20th, to head to Anaheim. I will be attending what will probably be the major highlite of this year, Blizzcon. Blizzcon is a convention for everything Blizzard: Starcraft, Warcraft, Diable, World of Warcraft, etc. It is really huge, and tickets are hard and pricey to get. We will be staying at the Hilton which sits right next to the convention center, and will be the place where the fans will be holding the after party. It's a win win situation since I can walk out my door and be at both the party and the convention. I would also be able to return to my room at anytime I want.

So far this is my plan for my Blizzcon trip, in conjunction with fan postings on the forums. This may change, but this is where we lay.


Aug. 20th Thurs
-Driving down around 8am
-Picking up the tickets
-There is a wowinsider meet up, but prbly wont make it
-Go to the bonfire at the beach until they kick us out

Aug. 21st Fri
-Wake my butt up a little to early, prbly 5am
-Maybe breakfast meetup with Blizzconers
-First day of Blizzcon!
-No other plans.. /cry

Aug. 22nd Sat
-Wake up to damn early again
-Second day of blizzcon!
-Blizzcon afterparty!!

Aug. 23rd Sun
-Prbly never went to bed
-Another long drive back home /cry



Oh and the Ozzy performance goes on whatever day he plays at Blizzcon, prbly sat. :)

New Jinx Shirts

The above image I must say is totally awesome. This is the design on the front of one of jinxes new t-shirts. In an RP since, it's really cool. My main is a mage, but I never cared to much for the shirts with the mage symbol. They were a little to boring. This one is cool, because your saying that you graduated from a mage university, a prestigious one at that. I've already decided that I must get this for blizzcon. The good thing is, I can order it here on the web, and then just pick it up at the same time I pick up my blizzcon tickets.

Another shirt that looked pretty wowsome, was the new death knight shirt. They are the new class to the scene, so it's about time they get their own shirt. I must say that it totally shows up any of the other class shirts out there. If I was a dk, I'd buy it.

blizzcon!

Yayy! I was able to buy my blizzcon tickets online! This will be the first year that I will be going. After what happened last year, I was a little panicky on how things would work out today with tickets. I had myself braced to see that freaking little fail lock.. or to see the site freeze all of a sudden and just all out crash. But surprisingly things ran very smooth, despite it still being a little hectic. The link to buy tickets was posted 2 mins before they were slated to be released, and I was already in the 1300 position in que by the time it clicked over! XD The que system itself was pretty slick. It told you your position in que, time left until you hit the front of the ling (although pretty inaccurate), and it also had a bar on the left showing how many tickets were left. I can say that by 12:14...have of the tickets were already gone. From what i read on wowinsider.com.. they were already in like the 20,000's not long after 10. That's just freaking crazy. Oh wells, the main thing is that I finally get to go this year. Now all I have to do, is provide the names of everyone going with me by June. Then it's just the waiting game until then. Hmmm perhaps come June, I should look for a hotel near the convention. With this economic crises we are in..maybe i can get a room for cheap ;) . (is that wrong to think that :P)
