This is a video that was made by a classmate in my windows server security class. We had difficulty at the beginning of class getting our hands on server 03 to go along with our book. Microsoft had stopped supporting 03 and shifted all support to 08. That's all fine, except that our book is specifically tailored to 03. In the end we got installations of 03 on our machines.. so this video is Hitlers response to that fact.

This season looks to be very epic! It looks like a rival guild has appeared to take on our fav. guildies, and our guildies appear to be having a little personal drama. Vork our fav. guild leader is leaving because he feels he has let the guild down. Claire's husband is buckling down and telling her she needs to spend more time with the family and not in game. Felica, I mean Codex, is playing basketball outside with Tinkerbella! The new WoW expansion is going to be chaos, and now their is chaos happening with the guildies.
This series is really great, and has it's grassroots with the fans. I recommend you watch it. The new season airs on msn video tomorrow, sept 1st. For people who have an xbox, and an xbox live gold membership, you can view the video already on there. I can't wait to re-watch this video, and will post a link up to it tomorrow!

Adobe CS4
I actually already have my Adobe CS4, but I just received an email that I think others may be interested in. The email was from Amazon for 80% off of the CS4 student edition. I'm not sure if there is any difference between student and normal, but all of the students out there, that is a great deal! I put a pic of my email below and a link to the site for those who are interested. I can't hurt to look into it if you are interested.

MJ
So everyone has some kind of Micheal Jackson thing going on. Just shows how popular of an artist he was. I had decided not to blog about his death, but here is my little page tribute to MJ.. 2 segments I found on youtube from Captain EO. Captain EO was a 3D film in disneylands tomorrow land. Since MJ's death, I wonder if we'll see disneyland running it one more time. It's interesting to note that even though this movie looks verrryyy old, it was one of the most costly ones made at the time for it's short length. I think I had seen these before, but I'm not to sure on that since the movie is as old as I am.... it came out in 1986.

Comcast to Offer TV on the Internet

We are starting to see more and more tv shows making it to the web legally with commercial advertising. Thanks to hulu for mainly starting that. Well, comcast has partnered with Warner Brothers, and hope to provide the same services come June. The only catch, is that you have to already be paying monthly for your tv service. So mainly this idea is more of a bonus for comcast customers. You can log onto a comcast site from anywhere, and watch your fav. tv show that you may or may not have missed.
I think this is the future of home entertainment. I believe we'll start to see more tv and computers integrated into one, with favorite shows available at anytime you want. Can you imagine pausing the program you are watching on tv, and pulling up the internet to make dinner reservations, all without getting up from the couch. Or maybe you want to chat with friends while browsing for music in your home theater. This is something I know I would set up for myself, but I also see this as something everyone is going to have in the future.... or at least something similar.

Your Right Ear

So we all know that the right side of the human brain controls all of the artsy side of someone. At that, the left side of the brain is the most analytical. So if you want to identify notes better, listen more in your left ear, and vice versa, if you want to make since of someones mumbling, listen with your right ear.
Recent studies show that people are more likely to follow a request if spoken to in their right ear. For example, your at a club and someone asks you for a dance. You are more likely to agree if they speak to you in your left ear that your right.

Google Cam Catches Mugger

I'm sure most of you remember the picture of the guy passed out drunk on his front lawn being posted on google street views. Well listen to this story.
A 14 yr old was mugged in the Dutch town of Groningen. The two muggers, twin brothers, stole his cell phone and about 165 euros ($230). The boy filed a report and everything, but all police really had to work with were his descriptions. Later on, that boy found pictures of his two muggers on google street view, that had been taken seconds before they attacked him. The boy gave this info to the cops, whom contacted google for the originals because faces were blurred to protect privacy. The cops did an investigation and one of the muggers broke down and confessed.
So for all of you criminals out there, you better watch it. Google is watching you! XD Wow that sounds sci-fi ish. lol

New Smoking Laws

The tobacco companies have finally lost a little ground recently! Obama has signed a bill that will increase the FDA's power over cigarettes, as well as make public all ingredients put into them. Now you can prove me wrong, but I think all ingredients are public, but maybe they are going to put them on the box or something *shrug*
Part of this bill also bans any candy flavored cig. and also any flavored cig. that may attract new and young smokers. A scary fact, in defense of this, states that 90% of smokers start before the age of 18. Obama also admits to doing the same thing, and how he is currently fighting his own habit. His wife said he had to quit if he was shooting for presidency.
I think this is a step in the right direction, tobacco companies have always been the hardest to get a hold on because they lobby together very well. One thing this bill lacks, is the ban on menthol flavored cigs. but i guess the tobacco companies would really have a problem with that.
Personally, I think they should up the price for a pack to 60 bucks. ^_^ See I don't smoke, but all of those smoking around me doing the damage to my lungs, you can pay a little extra tax for my med bills .. lol
oh and how do you like my pic of the crab double fisting the cigs XD

Tired of these muthafckn snakes!

I'm sure this news story has spread everywhere in the blogospher by now, but I had to comment on it. For those of you who haven't heard yet, a police station in Sierra Leone has been over ran by about 400 cobras and vipers. Screw snakes on a plane! This is real life, and is in a police station. It has gotten so bad, that the police officers and people reporting crimes don't want to return to the station. Now the army and fire departments have been called in to get the snakes out. Snakes charmers have failed!! They are going to try and flood the station with water, but the problem is that the next place these snakes are going to go are in neighboring houses. I can see the news report now of all the people getting attacked by these 400 snakes passing through.
A little geography for you. Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. Africa is a continent for you idiots who were thinking to contradict me. Sierra Leone borders a forest and the climate is just great for snakes. They people of Sierra Leone are returning back after leaving due to civil war. They have other animal related injuries from wild animals taking over in their absence.
If it were me, I'd say torch the police station. Humans 400, snakes 0!!

Tokyo's Neko Cafes

Ok so I'm not talking about an animecon, where you have a bunch of girls running around dressed as cats, nor am I talking about the restaurants where you get the same thing. I'm talking about a cafe filled with actual kitty cats. There are about 8 that I read about in Tokyo. Customers pay around 8 to 12 dollars per hour. They can sip tea, and read comics, all with the attention of one of the furry workers. The rules in these places highly favor the cats, and if you get nipped by one, well you shouldn't have been messing with the cat when it didn't want attention. Most customers aren't to mad though when they got nipped, or if a cat started to scratch at their jacket. Most customers report the Neko Cafe as being a great place to go to relieve some stress.
This is definitely one of those places where you'd say "only in Japan." Sadly, I think something this simple would never do well in the states, even though I think it's a great idea.

Donkey Kong High Score
Some of you may remember the classic donkey, which is way different than the donkey kong today. In the old one, donkey kong was the evil one, that mario would have to save the princess from. Well so far the highest score in this donkey kong, is 1,050,200. That's a lot of points. This year, Steve Wiebe tried his hand at beating that title and failed. It took place at this years E3 convention, amongst many set backs. His highest score out 4 attempts, was 989,400 points. This is lower than his 1,000,200 points scored last year at the open e commerce convention. It's to bad he didn't win it, the prize was going to be 10,001 dollars in quarters. Now that's a lot of quarters!!

Map of USA Nuke Sites
I read this in my email this morning. Basically the US drew up a 256 pg document, detailing where all of the Nuke sites, as well as materials for those nukes, are stored. They were drawing up the report for a UN group, aimed at making sure no country is going to secretly try and develop stuff. The document, although not classified, was put up on the government printing office website after being submitted to congress for review. It was taken down right after the NY Times got wind of it, and called to enquir for more. Some say it's just a mistake and that it's not a breath in security. Others say that this is putting highly sensitive US information out there for anyone wanting that information. I agree with the later that it's not very good to have all of our missle silos and storage facilities on display over the web. As most people know, as soon as it hits the web, it is there to stay. You can always find it on some sites cache, or some other site who nagged it before it was taken down. Isn't it in the movies where we see terrorists go for nuclear materials and then investigators say it must be someone on this inside, because it's a highly secret location. Well now all they have to do is google it. <--ik some of you just loaded google up and tried.... didn't cha ;)

eminem gets @$$ in his face!
For those that didn't know, @$$= ass ;) just making sure we are on the same page here
So yes you did read that right, eminem gets bruno ass, all up in his grill. I'm sure that everyone in the blogosphere has talked all about it, and that I'm a little late, but it was still to f'ckn hilarious not to talk about it. Basically, during the grammys, Bruno flys in with angel wings and his but hanging out the back. When he gets above eminems seat, Bruno starts having problems with his harness. He was also saying something like my poopie, but do correct me if I'm wrong. He then proceeds to fall face first into eminems lap, straddling his head. Eminem looks hella pissed with his face 2 inches from Brunos butt crack. After Bruno is taken off of eminem, Em storms out of the event.
Now after doing research and reading up on what happened, it has come out that the whole event was stage, so eminem was on it the whole time. But you should see that look on the crowds faces, like OMG is that really happening. I bet some were snickering like payback! for what he should them doing in his vids.
If you would like to see the vid. here is a link to it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qcqd9jru5g&feature=related

new visa, two way authentication!

So I first read about this on my favorite blog wowinsder(giving credit where it's due ;) ), and i decided to research it a little more in depth. Basically as you see in the pic, there is a keypad, and an lcd screen. From what I understand, the keypad is to enter your password onto the card, that generates a one time use keycode. I'm willing to bet that keycode shows up on screen to be typed in while making online purchases, but hopefully you don't have to in the store. It seems like it would cause things to take a little longer while you wait in line, but if the technology works, it would really boost cred card security. The traditional method goes straight to the visa servers for authentication. With this new visa, your card will be sent to two different servers. One server verifies your visa, the other verifies your key code number. The new visa is being tested in Europe right now, and if it's a success, we can expect it to be offered out at all major companies soon after.
So why was this on my world of warcraft site? Well we use the same technology to secure our online accounts. See we face the danger of having someone hack into our account, and mailing off all of our virtual assets. It is very upsetting to have a game like wow, where you invest a lot of your time, and to log in to see your characters naked and all of your money gone. People hack into your account through key loggers on your computer, that record your keystrokes, like your passwords. This happened to my brother. I myself have an authenticator now, after I seen my computer had been infected by a trojan. I had removed it, but that was a clear reminder that I could easily be hacked.
So far there has yet to be 1 person who's account was hacked while using the authenticator. With the visas, no one can use them without those one time use keys. For that they have to have your visa physically in hand, and they need to know your password just to show the key number.

Clare Werbeloff
For anyone who doesn't recognize this lady, she "witnessed" a shooting outside of a nightclub in Australia. In racist terms she described a fat guy shooting a skinny guy. Basically the fat guy shot the skinny one for sleeping with his cousin. Her depiction of what happened has been posted all over youtube, and her famous quote, "chk chk boom", has spawned a lot of t-shirts. She's also very hot, and with that accent, she rose to instant internet fame. As soon as she was widely known, she hired a PR agent, and started her own fan club. The kicker of the story.. it was all fake! She made the story up for the news cameras, and says she didn't expect it to get blown up like it did. Although she sure did want all of the camera time, considering she was trying to kick other people off the camera! LoL .
Rumor has it, that she wants to start stripping at one of the nightclubs. Now this is just a rumor, and this is the internet. It's not hard for one "hot" girl rise to fame, and all of a sudden become a "stripper." Although if she were to become a stripper, she'd probably bring a lot of client ale, thanks to her internet fame.
